We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child. As a Hertfordshire Community School, our school admissions are centrally managed by the Local Authority.  All applications should be made online to the Local Authority. 

Starting School in September 2024

Applications for a place in Reception from September 2024 will open on 1st November 2023 and the application deadline will be 15th January 2024. For admissions in September 2024, we will have 60 available spaces in Reception. Should the school receive over 60 applications, the oversubscription criteria will be applied.

We feel that the best way to see if our school is the right school for your child is by visiting. We are delighted to run a series of guided tours of the school. During this tour, members of our Senior Leadership Team will show you around the school. Following this a member of our team will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have.

If you are applying for a Nursery place, please ensure you also apply for another setting in addition to Central Primary, as we are usually significantly oversubscribed and you may not get allocated one of our places.  The nursery application deadline is 1st March 2024.

If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. The best way to answer questions you may have is to visit and see our school at work and play.  We are currently offering  tours with small groups.
